When things don't go your way, you might feel let down, depressed or even angry. Holding on to expectations of how you want things to turn out can be very disappointing. Whether you're disappointed by yourself, a friend, or life in general, it's always an unpleasant feeling. Like any feeling, disappointment has come to you for a reason, acknowledge it, accept how you're feeling, then process it. The sooner you do this is the sooner you can move on. The beauty of disappointment, though, is that can provide a bridge to the acceptance of reality, wisdom, and fuel the drive to begin again.
