The first meal of the day in Jamaica is often porridge, maybe oatmeal, green banana, or one like this sweet and creamy cornmeal porridge. It's warm and hearty, and Mom used to say it's a thinking food-it fuels your brain and fills you up with energy. Sometimes I like to sprinkle wheat germ on top for extra nutrients. If you are into the practice of saving kief after grinding Herb, try sprinkling a little pinch of it over the porridge. You're sure to be feeling warm and fuzzy the rest of the day!
